Starting in a new convenient lunchtime slot, this course will look at some of the most famous ideas, philosophies and social concepts in history, and how we use and abuse them! Are these ideas today used authentically and honestly, or manipulated by us to suit our purposes, or to condemn that which we oppose and dislike?!?

23 January - Marxism
30 January - Aristotle and Plato – Are there merits to slavery and eugenics?!?
6 February - Spinoza’s God
13 February - Equality
27 February - Machiavelli
5 March - Thomas Hobbes and why we should have dictators rule us
12 March - Dawkins
19 March - Capitalism
26 March – Religion

Why not make a day of it and stay with Hagai for his Tour of the Political Globe class at 2.30pm? Click here for more info.
