The event is now much, much more than a sporting event, becoming the most lucrative gathering on the planet, courting huge political and security scrutiny and controversy over the years, with tragedy mixing with the joy of victory. This course will take a fascinating tour of the Olympics and these issues, past and present, and what it will all mean for us when the Olympics hits London!
