LJCC Hebrew Summer Ulpan
30 July -10 August 2012
Term Starting 30 July
Have you ever wanted to learn Hebrew, but just haven’t had the time?
Join our popular, friendly and inclusive, intensive Modern Hebrew Learning Programme.
The London Jewish Cultural Centre Summer Ulpan is one of the most exciting and effective Hebrew language programmes in the UK. Welcoming everyone from complete beginner to the most advanced. Growing every year in numbers and popularity, we invite students who are keen to immerse themselves in a personally enriching and demanding two-week programme.
This intensive course caters for five levels of proficiency, and before classes begin, each student receives a personal assessment and is placed in the most appropriate class for their level. Morning classes start promptly at 9.30am and run until 1.00pm with a mid-morning coffee break at 11.00am. Afternoon activities complement the formal learning. In addition to learning through textbooks, we also offer learning through modern Israeli films, conversation, games, literature and grammar.
Whatever level you are, we guarantee that you will see a vast improvement, allowing you to get one step further in your quest for fluency, within a friendly, fun and supportive environment.
We look forward to your participation in this year’s Summer Ulpan and hope that you will enjoy it as much as our students have in the past.
Please contact Head of Languages Haggit Inbar-Littas, on 0208 457 5010.
“I would definitely recommend this Ulpan to a friend. The teachers are able to deal with the varied abilities and personalities within the class. An excellent experience and a lot of fun”
