the issues that remain unresolved between
Israel and the Palestinians, and what might
help to solve them. From Jerusalem and
the refugees and borders, to understanding
decision making in Israeli and Palestinian
politics, we will explore the problems and
try and find some answers to them.
15 October - Introduction to the conflict, its history and its legacy
22 October - Jerusalem: Eternally undivided city or the future capital of two states?
29 October - Borders, territory, dividing lines.
5 November– NO CLASS
12 November - The Refugee issue
19 November - Other thorny issues! Water/resources, historic statements, etc, etc.
26 November - The Wider Arab-Israel Conflict – Syria and The Golan, Lebanon, Egypt, Jordan, etc.
3 December - Political systems – Israeli and Palestinian – and why they matter when in negotiations.
10 December - Now and the future, ideas and solutions!
17 December - Conclusion class
