The fusion of Jewish and secular cultures in
Western Europe produced a wealth of talented
individuals whose ideas altered the course of
history. This course will examine such important
figures as Jesus, Disraeli, Marx, Herzl, Freud,
Jabotinsky, Trotsky, Rosa Luxembourg,
Weizmann, Ben Gurion, Begin and Sharon
in an attempt to determine the impact of
Jewishness on their lives and their impact on
the world.
