Every day we are living through events that will
eventually appear in the history books. How
can we decide what are the crucial events of
any one year or any one decade? This new
course will use the hindsight of history to
examine some of the crisis years of the Jewish
people and the world. The dates span from
1492-1968. Each week we will consider a
different year or years.

7 November: 1871
14 November: 1880s
21 November: 1894
28 November: 1900
5 December: 1914
