Ballet Masterclass 10.30 - 11.15am
Anita Young, teacher at The Royal Ballet School and former soloist with The Royal Ballet, will demonstrate a class in the Cecchetti style, in honour of Pavlova’s legacy.
Taking part will be students from The Royal Ballet School. The class will be introduced by Brian Bertscher, former Royal Ballet soloist and Professor of Ballet in Germany.
Pavlova -Then and Now
A talk by Clement Crisp 11.30am - 12.15pm
Clement Crisp is the doyen of Ballet critics and one of Britain’s leading dance historians.
Pavlova Day at Ivy House is part of Big Dance 2012.
Big Dance is funded by Legacy Trust UK and delivered by Mayor of London and Arts Council England.
