Exhibition: Open until 11 October

The London Jewish Cultural Centre is delighted to announce that Art House 2012, the showcase for artists in the community, is now open to view until Thursday 11 October at Ivy House.
Over 300 entries were considered by our curators Patrick Bade, Senior tutor at Christie’s, Julia Weiner, Art Critic, David Lewis, Private Collector, Janet Nathan, Artist and David Glasser, Ben Uri Gallery. They were delighted by the high standard and selected over 100 to hang on the walls all over Ivy House.
Four prizes have been awarded. First prize to Alfred Wolfe Lester for his pencil picture of The View from Parliament Hill, second prize to Miriam Reik for her unusual piece Looking for my Mother and Father - Postcards from the Past, and two third prizes to Frances Balcombe for Peas in a Pod and Tony Abrahams for Market Day-Morocco.
Many pictures are available for sale. Prices on request from Reception.

Exhibitors please collect your artwork from Ivy House on Friday 12th October before 4pm, Sunday 14th October from 11am-1pm or Monday 15th & Tuesday 16th October from 9.30am -5pm.
