What was the nature of South African Jews? Why did they leave South Africa? Andrew will reveal the findings of research commissioned by the University of Cape Town on the migration of South African Jews to London: the reasons for migration and the effects that it has had on religious and national identity.
Andrew is an experienced educator and has taught at the Royal Holloway and the Open University. He is a developer of educational approaches to equality and diversity, with a research interest in equality in employment, Holocaust remembrance, and the experience of Jewish servicemen and women in the Second World War.
