With Professor Vernon Bogdanor CBE and Hagai Segal, the LJCC's scholar in residence.

Professor Bogdanor is a Fellow of Brasenose College, Oxford, an Honorary Fellow of the Society for Advanced Legal Studies, a Fellow of the British Academy, and in 1998 was awarded the CBE for contributions to constitutional history.

He has held numerous key positions in regards constitutional and electoral matters including being a Member of Council of The Hansard Society for Parliamentary Government, Specialist Adviser to the House of Lords Select Committee on the European Communities, Adviser (as a member of Council of Europe and American Bar Association delegations) to the governments of Israel, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia on constitutional and electoral reform, Member of the Swedish Constitutional Reform Project, Member of the Advisory Group to the High Commissioner on National Minorities, Adviser to the President of Trinidad on the Constitution of Trinidad, and Member of the ESRC's committee administering the Devolution programme.

Professor Bogdanor is a frequent contributor on national and international TV, radio and newspapers, and has published numerous books and articles.

Hagai Segal is an internationally renowned academic, consultant/analyst and commentator, specialising in the Middle East and related affairs. A regular guest on numerous national and international TV channels and radio stations, he also writes for publications around the world.

This event will be preceded by a complimentary talk by Hagai Segal, the LJCC's Scholar in Residence, on "Camp David: Lessons from a successful peace process". The talk will take place at 7pm, prior to this evening's main event. Ticket holders for "Israel's Coalition Politics: Conundrum or Catastrophe?" are invited to attend.
