Founded by Harry Blech in 1949 as the UK’s first chamber orchestra, the internationally renowned London Mozart Players (LMP) is regarded as one of Europe’s finest chamber orchestras. Particularly known for its definitive performances of the core classical repertoire, it also has an innovative approach to music making and gives many world premieres, especially of British composers.
The London Mozart Players Chamber Ensemble consists of principal members of the LPM. Maya Magub (violin), Tom Dunn (viola), and Sarah Nutcher (cello) will be performing:
- Beethoven’s String Trio Op. 9 No 1 in G
- Lennox Berkeley (trio for string Op. 19)
- Mozart Divertimento in E flat major K563
