David Juritz, Violin, took up scholarships to the Royal College of Music, London, where he received the College’s highest award. He later joined the English Chamber Orchestra, who sponsored his South Bank debut at the Purcell Room in 1985. Since then he has appeared as a soloist and chamber musician in all the major concert halls of the UK and across the world. In 1991 he was appointed Leader of the London Mozart Players. He plays a violin made in Piacenza in 1748 by J B Guadagnini.
Judith Busbridge, Viola, was appointed Principal Viola in Sandor Vegh’s Camerata Academica. Judith is currently Principal Viola for the London Mozart Players and for John Eliot Gardiner’s Monteverdi Orchestra. She is also frequently invited as Guest Principal by other chamber orchestras including the Academy of St. Martin-in-the-Fields. As concerto soloist her performances include appearances at Vienna’s Musikverein and the Queen Elizabeth Hall.
Julia Desbruslais, Cello, won an open scholarship to study the cello at the Royal Academy of Music aged 16, and won awards including the Leverhulme Chamber Music Scholarship. Julia was a founder member of the all-female Fairfield String Quartet. On leaving the Quartet, she became Co-Principal Cello with the London Mozart Players. She has a passion for inspiring young children and is a leading light in the vast education programme of the London Mozart Players.
